SLAM
When my teacher told me that we had to write a SLAM poem
I naturally thought
SLAM
I crash into the tree
And I know
That my skiing skills
Are going downhill
SLAM
I kept wondering
Why the baseball
Was getting bigger
And bigger
Then it hit me
SLAM
I throw down the weights
Frustrated
7 days without going to the gym
Sure does make one weak
SLAM
The soda can smashes into me
But it does not hurt
For it was a soft drink
Life is to short to be serious all of the time
And have no fun
So when my teacher told me to write a SLAM poem
I thought SLAM
I naturally thought

Are going downhill

I really like when you said "Why the baseball was getting bigger and bigger and then it hit me."
ReplyDeleteHehe, This poem made me laugh, especially the part where brendan throws you a soda can. This poem is a fun poem to read and i like it when you kept on saying slam
ReplyDeleteThis is a very funny poem, and I like how you added all the jokes in to your poem.
ReplyDeleteReally good use of wordplay in this piece! Love the choice of words to describe different things slamming into others!
