Terrifying Tarantula

They say it’s just an 8 legged creature

that crawls with stealth,

that creeps around corners,

and hangs on walls.

Some people are frightened,

while others are neutral.

Some will own a spider as a pet,

without breaking a sweat.

While others will remain petrified,

and terrified.

But what I see is a deadly,

black and green python.

Rarely friendly,

usually hostile.

As aggressive as it sounds,

it injects venom with its sharp fangs,

crawls with its hairy legs,

and would kill without a second of thought.

Some people say its nothing to be afraid of,

but what I see is a silent killer that’s as big as my hand,

stalking its prey waiting to strike.
