_

_

Empty, void, white, hollow, blank
an entire page to fill
to flow into
a barren landscape to transform
into a lush jungle of words, overflowing.

But here it rests,
in solitude without meaning, as
 an empty page
 a blank page
 an incomplete page
missing what would give it purpose
a meaning to the otherwise meaningless.

It’s missing thoughts.
It’s missing words, expressions, sentences
the reflection of what we think
 the physical embodiment of
  emotions
  memories
  thoughts
 as words on a page.

But that’s not there yet,
 the page I must fill
the page I must fill with words
the page I must fill with meaning
with purpose.

Sits empty

 and _

  1. I really like this poem! I love the imagery you installed in this poem. It's kind of a mysterious poem and I really liked the voice over. You are only referring to a blank page yet with such passion, you wrote about words, "to flow into
a barren landscape to transform into a lush jungle of words, overflowing''
    I love this poem!
